News -- Emdebian Grip Squeeze updated to 6.0.2

Emdebian Grip Squeeze updated to 6.0.2

September 29th, 2011

Emdebian Grip Squeeze 2.0.2 (based on Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.2) is now available.

This is the first update of the stable distribution Emdebian Grip (based on Debian GNU/Linux 6.0), bringing Emdebian Grip up to date with Debian 6.0.2. This update mainly adds corrections for security problems to the stable release, along with a few adjustment to serious problems. This update was delayed, relative to the Debian release of 6.0.2 and the Emdebian project aim to be back in sync with the next Debian point release of 6.0.3. Please note that this update does not constitute a new version of Emdebian Grip 2.0 or Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 but only updates some of the packages included. Systems will upgrade to 2.0.2 via the Emdebian mirror after an installation. For more details on the changes within Debian through 6.0.1 and 6.0.2, see the Debian news website. http://lists.debian.org/debian-embedded/2011/09/msg00008.html
